What the BUNK?

Slap bang in the center of Utrecht we opened our restaurant in the historical ‘Westerkerk’, where we have home brewed beers on the tap, affordable meals on our varying menu, and long tables for dinner, drinks, meetings or just to catch up. A diverse cultural program is an important part of our success. At least 4 times a week we have a special program at BUNK.


Job description

As a shining star in management and service, the place can’t run without you. You are capable of making sure that even the most demanding guest will walk outside with their doggy bag, completely satisfied and showing a big smile. If such as an all-seeing eye exists, you have two. You see the missing spoon on table 69, queues before they form, if the revenue lives up to the expectations and problems before they even happen. In the meantime, you coach your team to indescribable accomplishments. You stay till the very end to make sure that all the work gets done properly, but also realize that it takes a team effort to get things done on time. You know exactly how to keep your team motivated to go that extra mile, even when things don’t go as expected.

Requirements

  • You are ready for your next adventure after 2-4 years of experience leading a team in a hotel or restaurant.
  • You passed your social responsibility and emergency first responder courses with flying colors.
  • You are hospitable and keep your calm, even under high pressure.
  • You are socially skilled and enjoy making guests leave happy and satisfied.
  • You are fluent in English.
