Public Area Custodian at Bunk Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, NetherlandsHOUSEKEEPING
Just a short trip into Amsterdam Noord, you’ll find Bunk. Our hotel features 106 rooms and a hostel area comprised of unique and innovative pods, where we host guests from all over the world for an affordable price. But neither a hotel nor a hostel is anything without the people who keep it running: our housekeepers are what makes our world go ‘round.
The devil is in the details, and you are someone who has an expert eye for them. You are all about precision: from never missing a dusty corner in a room to making sure soaps and shampoos in the public bathrooms aren’t missing even a single pump, nothing escapes you. You make sure everything is spick and span so that every guest that walks through Bunk’s doors has the best experience possible. You’re comfortable working alone, you love it, actually – but you also enjoy helping your colleagues in Housekeeping whenever needed. While you might be a neat freak, you’re even more of a people person, and love some quick chats with guests that you meet in the building throughout the day.
In Bunk’s monumental churches, you’ll find a cross between a hostel, a hotel, a restaurant, a coworking space, an art gallery, a cultural event venue, a traveler’s gem and a local favourite. Far from your typical hospitality concept, then. Our brand is built around personality, connection and stories and our team is made of real people from all walks of life. Rather than extensive experience, what our team has in common is a love for others, and for helping them, whether that be through pointing them towards the best experiences in our cities or creating the best experience on their plates.
ABOUT BUNK AMSTERDAM
We’ve converted Amsterdam Noord’s historical Sint Ritakerk into a buzzing hub for people from near and far alike. On a typical day, our restaurant (and terrace, in the summer) is filled with diners enjoying dishes from all over the world prepared with local ingredients (with a Bunk twist, of course), backpackers catching some good sleep on a budget in our pods, culture vultures capitalising on our free events, podcasters and producers recording the next big thing and curious travellers wandering through our halls, heading out on adventures before making their way back to their rooms.
